Masters Programmes

Are you interested in studying for a Master's Degree?

The PCIL offers postgraduate masters level courses (Level 7) which can be used for continuing professional development or as optional modules within specific MSc Programmes at the Univeristy of Liverpool.

The accredited courses delivered by the Palliative Care Institute, Liverpool can be undertaken as optional modules in a number of MSc Programmes within the School of Health Sciences.   You will have the opportunity to gain 20 academic credits at M Level (7) on successful completion of each of the modules.

The current Modules offered by the Institute include:

  • HEAL415: Advanced Practice in Therapeutic Communication Skills
  • MDSC160 Advanced Practice in Palliative Care
  • MDSC161: Advanced Practice in End of Life Care
